The ALGOL 3 (First series) is an unusual 11-inch portable transistor television. In 1964 Marco Zanuso and Richard Sapper designed this Brionvega transient television model Algol 3 and marketed by the Milanese company Brionvega. It is characterized by the rounded and inclined screen (for this very reason Zanuso will compare it to a little dog looking up at its owner) and the removable metal handle. The device is made of BLACK ABS plastic material with beveled edges. The kinescope has a 90° deflection to allow easier viewing.
